Fumbi Chima

Dr. Fumbi Chima is a global technology executive with extensive leadership experience at BECU, adidas, Fox Networks, Burberry, Walmart, and American Express, where she drove digital transformation, enterprise change, and business-aligned innovation. 

She has served on the boards of Willis Towers Watson, Whitbread, AZEK, Ted Baker, and Africa Prudential, shaping governance, digital strategy, and risk management. A recognized thought leader in AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, she is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. 

Dr. Chima holds a Doctor of Letters from the University of Hull and executive certifications from Harvard Business School, with honors from American Banker, Savoy Magazine, and others.

Chiugo is a seasoned banking leader with 25+ years in financial control, M&A, investor relations, and business transformation. A First-Class Engineering graduate (UNN) with an MBA (Unilag), he is a Fellow of ICAN, CIBN, and CITN. He is Group Executive Director at Heirs Holdings, previously held senior roles at UBA (including COO and Head of Treasury & International Banking) and Diamond Bank. He sits on the boards of Transcorp Plc and United Capital Plc.

Samuel Nwanze is the Executive Director and CFO at Energies Limited. He was previously Director of Finance & Investments at Heirs Holdings, CEO of HH Capital, and Acting CEO of Tenoil Energy. He led the $2.5B financing and acquisition of 45% interest in OML17 and has driven investments across Oil & Gas, Power, Finance, Real Estate, and Impact Investing in Africa and beyond. A seasoned dealmaker and board member, he speaks globally on investment and development. Samuel holds an MSc in Finance & Management (Cranfield), is an alumnus of Harvard, IESE, and LBS, and is a CAIA, CIMA Fellow, and CGMA.

Chidi Okpala is the Executive Director for Payments, Group Integration, and Strategy (PGIS) at Heirs Holdings, overseeing the technology and healthcare business sectors. With over 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, FinTech, telecommunications, and strategy consulting, Chidi has worked with renowned organizations like Accenture, United Bank for Africa (UBA), and Bharti Airtel International. As the Founder & CEO of Airtel Mobile Commerce Holdings, he launched Airtel Money, now one of Africa's largest digital wallets, serving over 40 million customers in 14 countries. Before joining Heirs Holdings, Chidi co-founded and led Asante Financial Services Group, a FinTech firm providing digital financial solutions to over 520,000 MSMEs across Africa. Chidi holds a B.Sc. in Finance from Enugu State University, an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, and an MSc from London Business School, where he is also a Sloan Fellow.

At UBA since 2008, he held key roles including Advisor to the Heirs Holdings Chairman, Group Executive for Digital & Consumer Banking, and Director of the Global Shared Services Centre. Anant holds a Master of Commerce and an MBA from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. A certified Executive Coach, he champions transformation, digital innovation, and social impact initiatives in education, healthcare, and community development.

Formerly MD of Africa Prudential, he drove digital transformation and previously managed legal affairs at Heirs Holdings. With 22 years’ experience in law, banking, and strategy, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Afriland Properties and Redtech. He holds degrees from the Nigerian Law School, University of Liverpool, LBS, IESE, and MIT in Innovation & Design Thinking.
